Welcome to the Musings page! Explained below is the reason why my writings dissapeared, I'm hoping to restore them ASAP. In the meantime, here is what would be considered my lastest musing:

A Little Note:

I am deeply grateful to all of the folks in Southern California and across the USA for their belief in and support of me and my endeavors. I am truly blessed by the incredible people who have kept me going through some very trying experiences and who continue to make anything and everything possible in my life and career.
It's been almost a year since the documentary about me, I STAND CORRECTED was released on the film festival circuit by Andrea Meyerson and Standout Productions. The reaction to the film has been wonderfully uplifting. I am very proud that it has won so many awards and I'm extremely grateful to all of the people who contributed their time, money and effort to make it what it is, an outstanding film.
The film is about to begin some overseas screenings, hopefully the reaction around the world will come close to the reaction here in the USA. Again, I am truly honored.
But even if there was no film or attention because of it, I am most grateful for the people who have stood by and with me because of the music. It is truly what keeps me going.
Being a musician as a way of life has become more difficult for all who strive to achieve that reality. My unique challenges have magnified that difficulty even more. Each opportunity that comes my way is treasured and cherished in a much deeper manner than it was before.
The ever growing attendance at my performances has enabled me to keep pursuing my dreams and aspirations. I am humbled by and grateful to all of you.

PS: Here is the trailer for the Athena Film Festival, where ISC screened along with several Oscar winning films a few weeks ago. I appear at the :47 mark, after Xena Warrior Princess and Wonder Woman! Such an honor!!

Now for the explanation for the lost Musings:

I am very sad to report that after converting my writings into a Wordpress blog format, all of my files were erased when I downloaded a new version of Wordpress. Unfortunately I have not been able to retrieve my Musings.

I am hoping that sometime in the future I will be able to restore my Musings to their original glory. I'm certain that the writings are still in my computer somewhere. I began writing the Musings in 1999. In the meantime, you can read my witty introduction to the Musings after they were converted into a blog format:

I started posting essays when my website first came into being a number of years ago. I guess I could be labeled something of a prehistoric blogger. They weren't called blogs in those days. Being somewhat tech challenged in the past, I didn't have the savvy to convert them into a proper blog format. Maybe that's a good thing.

Now that I've received some help from friends in the tech arena, my Musings are organized in a blog. It is a little confusing to find some of my older posts, but if you search by category you'll see a link to older posts at the bottom. Even though some of the older posts may contain dated information, they were written in a crucible that few people ever experience. Thank you for your diligence!

In reading all of these Musings from the earliest to the present, I hope the reader will notice that I write from the heart, often without using the proper brain filters. I date each one, and they truly reflect my thinking at the time of their posting. As I state in one of the Musings, experience is a great teacher. My views and outlook have been evolving as I have evolved.

I hope that whoever reads these writings will postpone judgment and instead engage in a dialogue to either educate me, or listen to my current thoughts and opinions.

I am humbled by people's interest in me and the idea that they would be interested in what I have to say. Thank you for your participation.
